Summer Session will launch with Television Production Program. Students will learn camera operation, write, create, and produce an original segment which will be filmed at a local television studio. Registration begins May 1.

Kickoff of Television Production Program that will enable teens to write, produce, and host a pilot television segment. Not only is it a great way to learn tangible life skills but the pilot will be used as a model for our 2013 Summer Program.

Young Professionals Leadership Initiative  Information Session @ 11am.

Learn more about the exciting program by Beyond Expectations, Phly Phorum Toastmasters Club, and other community partners.

The six-week program will focus on enhancing public speaking and communication skills that will allow participants to pursue careers, education, and advocate for themselves and within their communities.

Advisory Council members Leontyne Anglin and Reggie Brown were invited to present at the Arts & Authors Extravaganza to share successes of the Beyond Expectations Teen Filmmaking Program.

The annual event held at the Voorhees Mansion is organized to educate writers and aspiring authors about trends in the publishing industry.

Beyond Expectations next Teen Filmmaking Program will kickoff in the Mercer County area following the mandatory information session with prospective students and parents.

Beyond Expectations will celebrate our newest partnership with the Camden Riversharks by participating in Community Mondays on July 30 at Campbell’s Field. 

We believe that writing is healing so fans are being encouraged to bring diaries that can be donated to our students. Give us a call if you’d like to join in on the fun!

Our next Open House will be held on Monday, July 23 at our new Mercer County office in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Our Charity Networking Reception will be held on Sunday, June 10 at the historic Conservatory Mansion in Trenton, NJ. 

Our keynote speaker, Frank E. Underwood Sr. is Chairman of the Central Virginia Film Institute in Petersburg, Virginia, one of only 49 official organizations sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Pictures to host Oscar Night® America.

Mr. Underwood has shared his advice, guidance, and expertise to assist with our ongoing efforts to grow our organization. We are extremely pleased that he has made time in busy schedule to join us and offer his wisdom on providing young people with access and resources to succeed.

Mr. Underwood is a retired US colonel, highly respected business leader, and dedicated supporter of youth in creative arts. He is also father of talented artist/producer Frank Underwood, Jr. and accomplished actor/director Blair Underwood.
